Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect the personal data you share with us through this website.

Last updated: 27 July 2026

This policy is a working draft prepared for BRG Events' website launch. It has not yet been reviewed by qualified legal counsel and should not be relied on as a final compliance document until it has been.

1. Who we are

BRG Events ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at info@brgevents.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data in the following ways:

  • Direct email or phone contact. If you contact us by email or phone using the details published on our Contact page, we collect whatever personal data is contained in that communication.
  • Website usage data. This site does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If that changes, this policy — and a cookie consent banner — will be updated before any such technology is introduced.

3. Why we collect it

We process your data to:

  • Respond to enquiries you send us by email or phone.
  • Provide information about our programmes, platforms, and services on request.
  • Maintain records of business communications and, where a relationship develops, manage that relationship.

Our legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest — responding to enquiries you have voluntarily initiated by contacting us.

4. How long we keep it

We retain enquiry data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and for a limited period afterward in case of follow-up (typically no longer than 24 months), unless a longer retention period is required to maintain an ongoing business relationship or to comply with a legal obligation.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us operate this website or respond to enquiries (for example, email hosting), under contractual obligations to protect your data. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve your browser connecting to Google's servers and transmitting your IP address as part of that request.

6. Cookies

This website does not currently set any non-essential cookies (no analytics, advertising, or tracking technology is in use). If this changes in future, we will implement a cookie consent banner and update this section before any such cookies are set, in line with the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@brgevents.com.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes — such as the introduction of cookies or analytics — will be clearly noted here.
